Meet our Contemporary Bathroom!

It's been a long slog for Ian, but by golly he has done a phenomenal job taking our tired vintage pink bathroom to a bright contemporary look.

He finished the project this week. The bathroom has been in a state of transition for ninety-five days.

Here's a few photos to help you understand why it took so long.

Okay. Enough of the spooky photos! Here's more of the "new" bathroom. Key changes were replacing all the tile with beadboard, and large porcelain tiles. Sherwin Williams, Dewy was used on the walls. A MirrorMate frame was added to the original mirror which we kept. The old linen closet was opened up by removing the door and installing beadboard. The splurge was the vanity and top from Signature Hardware .

Arabescato Gold tiles were used on the walls and the floor.

Our bright linen closet.

I'm glad I have something to show you other than the garden. It's starting to come back from the end of season "flash" drought, but as a whole it's not a beautiful Indian Summer like we usually have.

A big thanks to Mike and Rob for taking out the old cast iron tub and more!
